Strikers FC - Irvine

Terri is an experienced coach at the collegiate and club level. She holds a USSF National “A” Coaching License from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) and a former college player with the Univ. of Wisconsin. Terri is currently Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Minnesota Minneapolis (Kinesiology). She holds a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Terri improved a program that had never won more than 4 games in a season and led team from last place to first place conference finish in two years. 

• 2004 – Inherited team; finished 2-15-1 and led program in 2005 to a 11-7-2 record;
• Finished in 2nd place in the WAC. Named NCAA’s ‘Most Improved Team in the Nation’
• Qualified for first-ever conference tournament; advancing to semi-finals
• 2006 - Led team to first WAC Championship and first NCAA Tournament birth
• Program finished with a 13-5-4 record; Outscored our opponents 43-14;
• Signed #1 ranked recruiting class in the conference every year (2005, 2006, 2007)
• 16 student-athletes named to All WAC Academic Team; 2 NSCAA All-Region
• Appointed by the administration to serve on the University Accreditation Committee

Signed the #22 Ranked Class in the Nation

Defeated #9 Stanford and #22 UMASS

• Built NCAA Division I soccer program from its inception to a #13 National ranking

• Led team to 2nd round of the 2000 NCAA Tournament (48-team field) and National

Rankings in all 5 polls. Finished season 14-7-1

• Defeated several top-25 teams; including 2000 National Runner-up UCLA

• Coached National-Player-of-the-Year Finalist, a Pac-10 Freshman-of-the-Year, a

Pac-10 Player-of-the-Year, several All Pac-10, All-Region and All-American players

• Coached Conference Scoring Champion 2 out of 4 years in the Pac-10

• Two student-athletes participated with the U.S. Women’s National Team; one was a

starter for the US team that won the Gold Medal in the 2012 London Olympics. She

was also a member of the 2011 World Cup team that finished second

• Three student-athletes participated with the U.S. U-21 National Team, Two selected

for Senior College All-Star game, Four invited to WUSA (professional) combine; 3

played in the WUSA, Two chosen in the WUSA Draft - including the 5th overall pick

• Signed three nationally ranked recruiting classes: Top 10, #12, and #22

• Youth National Team players from Calif, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Virginia, Wash

• State Players-of-the-Year from Arizona (4), Illinois (2), Washington (2), Minnesota

• Several Adidas ESP - Top 150 players in the Nation

Academics / Administration

• 22 student-athletes named to All Pac-10 Academic Teams; 1 NSCAA All-Region

Assistant Soccer Coach / Recruiting Coordinator

• Assistant Coach / Recruiting Coordinator. Assisted program to its first NCAA tournament, Sweet 16, and #14 national ranking 

• Assisted program to 13-7 record in just the second year of the program
